Principal Message

Dear Families,
Welcome to Holmes Avenue Early Education Center. It is an honor to serve as your principal and partner in your child’s early learning journey. Our program is grounded in The Creative Curriculum®, a research-based approach that recognizes play as the foundation of young children’s learning. Through purposeful, engaging experiences in thoughtfully designed learning centers, children explore, discover, and build essential skills—from early literacy and mathematics to social-emotional development and problem-solving. In our classrooms, you will see children learning through meaningful play: constructing blocks to develop spatial awareness, creating stories in dramatic play to strengthen language, investigating natural materials to spark scientific thinking, and collaborating with peers to build strong social skills. Our teachers carefully observe each child and provide individualized support to nurture growth and readiness for future school success. We value the strong partnership between home and school. Your child’s home language and cultural identity are honored in our classrooms, and we encourage ongoing communication with your child’s teachers and our school community. We look forward to sharing your child’s progress and celebrations with you throughout the year. If you have any questions or would like to learn more about how The Creative Curriculum® supports your child’s development, please feel free to reach out at 323-589-6427.

With gratitude,
